Nuts/bolts for tow bar ????

Hi I have just got myself a tow bar and would like to fit it..(second hand)

I dont need one it's just that I'm crap at reversing.

It didnt come with any bolt/nuts etc to fit it. So my ?? is what size do I need. Or do I just need bolts ?

Any help you can give....Thanks in advance. Sherlock

The bit that the trailer hooks onto looks the same but the tube on mine is more round (unlike the one in the pic that is more square)

which bolts then ? the ones that secure it to the chassis or what?

Revster, I thought the name Bosal rang a bell! Bosal Exhausts! :)

The above company must be part of Bosal Benelux, which in turn is part of
Bosal International who manufacture in 21 countries. They make tow bars, exhausts, roof bars, jacks & steel shelving systems.

and they are currently holding your bumper on

most transporter tow bars make use of the box chassis rail that supports the bumper mounts

learn sommat new every day.....gotta remove a tow bar and put it on another van....will now be prepared for the bumper mount to hit the big toe!!!

I'd use ones that fit through the holes you already have in the bracket!! make sure they are high tensile though and use large over size washers to help spead the load
