mirror mount placement

Scored some arms at DF! Now I need to find out the measurement for the top mounting bracket on the door. Also need the adaptor/spacer for top mount, but think I can get them from VW dealer.

LLoyd, tis in hand with Simon, placement is where they touch and you can tweak the arms a little to get them balenced if they're at all bent, arms are alloy, obviously the LT arms are slightly different shape, but actually seem to pretty much line up with the syncro ones, if you ever decide to go for the genuine article in the future.

Thanks. Getting the last bits and pieces together and hope to mount them later this week.
