Chaps been away (he's a pretty much retired) but he has started on them. We're trying to design em so that adaptor bolts on Corrado mirror bolts to adaptor. The awkward thing is if you look at the Corrado fitting the bolts are at an angle and there is a bump for them which goes into the car door. What i'm trying to get is a straightforward no messing about adaptor, it cannot jus be a spacer we now know.
Also it will have to be steel as if it's alloy we are bolting to it and alloy threads strip easily tho i will be offering them hopefully in steel and stainless as obviously stainless will be more expensive!
Will update when i get prototypes n testing...

done mine in plastic top quality recycled compressed stuff to look at it looked like a plank of black wood about 40mm thick.
sit the rado mount on the plastic draw round in the oval then cut.. file off the wee bump on the rado mount or counter sink the plastic to suit.
Take the plastic to the door
Drill bolt holes to match t25 door so that the bolt heads are sunk into the plastic, sand it all down nicely then put two belters of screws right into the plastic from the rado mount at the angle which will miss the bolts only thing you are going to fiddle with is the angle/bevel of your plastic to get the mirrors level give it a nice coat of paint and tadah they are on and if you dont like it you can take em off no marks on your doors and put back the old wardrobe mirrors

ye could just call me blue peter, oh better away and build another......

Jus saw first prototypes n looking good. The main problem id that the corrado mirrors sit into the adaptor and the bolts are at an angle of 10 degrees. Being made from steel as the adaptor bolts to the door and the mirror will bolt to the adaptor, super solid & no messing round grinding etc like i had to the first time round...

Hoping for £20-25ish and hope to be within the next month. The wooden prototypes have taken some fiddling i can tell you! Metal one should be done this week and trial fit next monday tuesday i hope! I wanted a quality, simple product without mirror adaption etc so anyone can fit them easily.
