Morocco Syncro's all back safe and well

Hi All,

Just a quick message to let you know that all 3 Morocco Syncro families are back safe and well. I'm sure the others would agree that we had a pretty awesome time.

Everyday was like driving in a Syncro Postcard. Around 5000 miles of it - obviously a fair few more for those whom reside north of the border.

First day back at work today - so busy sorting things out paying off this trip and planning the next one

Quite a few pics to sort through, I'm sure we'll have something more posted in the near future for anyone interested. Meanwhile, one quick photograph of Russel's - a beach we stayed on for a few days where we had freshly baked bread and freshly caught fish delivered to our vans...

okay, back properly in front of my pc now and dust finally settled (actually totally caked)...

we all had an absolutley amazing time, all still reeling from the experience but in a very positive way! we're editing the hoards of pictures to post up sometime soon along with an account of some of the highlights of the trip.

my two recomendations from the trip are:

1) for syncro owners the Atlas mountains are a must if you're serious about off-roading

2) invest in a mechanical pump for your tdi...

oh yeah, Jake, hot running water is for pussy's.

Hi All

Just wondering who went?

I think I saw children in one of the photos. How did they handle all the travelling & rough camping?

Trying to convience the better half that a T25 is big enough for real travelling with a couple of kids.

Or should we go for a 'Winni'

In the gold van were Russel, his wife and his two girls. In the orange van, Andrew was solo half the trip then his partner and daughter flew out to join in.

TBH, I'd speak to Russel in person about it, the general concensus seemed to be, it'd be okay for a few weeks, but too small a space for several (see his earlier comment on this thread). Claire and I found it a little cramped, and that was only two of us, although having a high-top would be more desirable due to the increase in internal packing space.
