Gearbox advice again please

Post by dickspanner »

I am just about to order my conversion kit from KEP in the USA to stick my freshly rebuilt cosworth engine in my crewcab. FINALLY.

I think I remember someone telling me a DK gearbox would be the best option out of standard gearboxes for my T25.

If I order the kit based on being able to get one of these boxes, but canni get hold of one, is the bell housing for all other types of T25 gearbox the same?

I just want to get the thing ordered so its on its way etc

Cheers

Apparently the bellhousings will swap from all gearbox types.. but I dont know this as fact..
I am sure I have seen a TDi running a 2L box, using the TD bellhousing..

I am sure it will but want a defo confirmation before I place the order and can finally start the build up. Want to get mt teeth into the build, keep looking for side blowing exhausts for it, and sensible me is pricing gas conversion up as well.

Hopefully I will be passing your place in April in my newly rebuilt 2.4 Diesel T4 panel van on the way down to my place south of you.

Going to be first long run, since rebuilding my engine, hopefully going to fire it up tonight if the guy can get down to time it up for me as had a real head scratching moment last night and gave up.
