yes bell housing will fit ok but the syncro bell housing has breather pipes, depends on whether you will be take it through deep water.

You will need diesel input shaft, nothing special about syncro one.

Yes thats right. I have not looked at making a 2wd into a 4wd bell housing, the breather pipes are aprox 40mm. The bell housing simply bolts on, once removed there is a circlip to remove and then input shaft can be removed.
