Where's the best place to get a set of curtains? Found a website called Fabcab - anyone used them? I'm always nervous about buying over the net!

curtains

There is a reputable company that sells curtains on ebay. The company is:- G.Brown Textiles of Burscough, Lancashire. At the moment it is out of season & I don't think that they will be offering their good value deals at the moment but it could be worth waiting a while if you can. They have 100% positive feedback on ebay from around 1,300 customers.

The package they normally offer for a T25 comprises:- 9 curtains for 'downstairs', 2 curtains for 'upstairs', 9 tie-backs & 2 matching cushion covers complete with cushions. Last year the 'buy it now' price was iirc £59.99 + £9.99 p&p. They also offer you one chance to make an offer & they undertake to reply within 48 hours.

I offered £51.00 (+ £9.99 p&p) & that was accepted. They then contacted me to ask if I required any alterations from the stock sizes given in the advert. I had the 2 'upstairs' curtains shortened & also one of the 'downstairs' curtains was shortened to fit above the sink etc.

Check out a few different companies but give G.Brown's Textiles some consideration. :)

Wherever you buy them, make sure you get a thick blackout. It keeps you warmer in the winter months and allows you to sleep well after sun-up.

We have had a set of curtains from Browns Textiles (via Ebay). I would recommend them. You get side windows, rear and front and curtains for the high top in the package (and matching cushions!!). When you win the bidding you email them to say which van they are for and they send you the measurements for you to OK them. No problems, good quality (lined with cotton) and fast delivery :D
