here's a pic of me 83 devon wiv standard steelies and oe hub-caps (a little dented) it will give you an idea how your bus would look once lowered. this went done 60mm on JK springs.
did you change the dampers when you lowered with JK springs? i bought the 40 mm kit expecting to keep the ride practical but JK 40 springs lowered it 60mm. this is the 2nd set so... can't be just me
anyway i think the from dampers bottom out hitting bumps at speed.
Hi, Blo
this bus only went down yesterday,(saturday). I've kept the original oe dampers at the moment. Yes, the ride is quite choppy, you dont feel as if your riding on air, But IMO, this is a small sacrifice compared to the MUCH improved ride handlin of the bus now!!! This is the only mod on this bus up to now. . . .WELL CHUFFED WIV IT!!!
ave you trimmed the bumpstops yet? you dont normally need to on -45 springs, but if its gone down 60ish, then they recommend trimming two ribs from the standard bumpstops. I'm doing mine this weekend as the missus needs to wear a support bra when travellin' wiv me, its that choppy
