T25 Devon 1983 - Advice?

Post by CAT220 »

Hello All,

First post! I'm looking at buying a T25 Devon, i'm new to the whole camper van scene so not sure on the exact spec is whether its water or air cooled. I'm going to view it this weekend, ive had a brief look at it and bodywork and interior looks good, not had a chance to have a look underneath. I dont think the roof is currently working, thats all I really know so far. How much should I roughly be looking at paying?

Any pointers in what to watch out for?

Cheers,
C

Hello CAT220

welcome to the forum
I'm sure the devon owners will be giving you lots of tips

the Aircooled vans have only one grill on the front.

Hi Matt,

No pics yet will be the weekend before I get to see the van again. Its yellow lower half and white upper with a black band seperating the two. Bike rack on the rear. Its looks in very good condition.

Black mask and stripey jumper mate? That looks superb, no matter what price you paid for it :) Is the interior as clean as the exterior? Very nice `van there 8)

Large profit when you sell that m8 :) That is one of the cleanest `vans I`ve seen, very nice to see such a well-looked after bus. 8)

When I was looking last year, some of the utter sh+te out there has to be seen to be believed, at between £5000 and £10,000 as well
