battery probs

iv bought a 75ah battery charged it so it has 14v left it off the van for a few days and it drops down to 12v is this normal or is it a faulty battery ?

How long did you charge it for?
75 Ahr batt will need a good 24 to 36hr on a decent charger.
12V is a bit low.

also take temperature into account, batterys will drop voltage if it is cold

Where did you leave it i.e. what was it standing on? I think I read somewhere (or was told by someone) that if a battery is left standing on concrete it will discharge? Have never tried it though so I don't know if it's true.

cold has a big effect on batterys try when charging it to put it on a rubber mat or sum old carpet etc stop cold getting into it from garage floor i have mine wraped in old caprpet in the van as well to insulate it!!!!
