nice tio hear others have used them!! yeah making the lot from scratch as its a subaru engine and i made all the mounts for it myself i have no option realy but to make my own i made the one thats on it for m bosla pipes and bends but i really fancy a stainless one with two back boxes one each side mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, gonna add a balance pipe, but basicly two seperate exhausts for each cylinder bank, a mate of mine is a good welder so all i have to do it tack it together and he will tig weld it all up for me!!

if you have the clearance it would be much better to get all four pipes into one collecter in as short a length as possible (even under the engine) rather than fitting a balance pipe
there really isnt the room to do that without it looking like a tangled up mess i spoke to a mate of a mate who said a balance pipe should work fine as the total lenght of the exhaust would be very short up to the back box i just hope a straight through absorption box will be not to loud !!!!

ive not done the pictures yet but, ive got two stainless backboxes fed by a y bit that branches off to the twin outlets tucked right up the back. i saw a caravelle at vanwest with MR2 back boxes, it would be well 'throughty' on yours
just thought going down under the block would be easier coz you gotta get all four manifold pipes to be the same length before the balance pipe intersection
I see lots of bends and welds ahead
its about the best pic i can find as it too dark to take a pic of mine u can see where the exhausts exits on each side ([just abit out from the sump]both ports for each side are together unlike vw were there at eaither side of engine) so what i had in mind was exit towards the front then balance bar then turn through 180deg using 2 90's then out to a back box each sit back and listen to the music!!!!

turning them through 180 is gonna take a lot of space especially if you are doing 2 under there, personally I would take them to a couple of supertrapps in front of the rear wheels but I take it you want two rear exiting pipes
ill put up a pic of the exhaust i made before (very rusty now) thers actually a fair bit of room round the edges dont want to go out throught the sides as dont like the look and if it's loud dont want to blast people on the pavment! plus twin exhausts out the back looks sexy well it does to me
