Ok fellas whaddya think?

Post by blurb55 »

Reet having plunged the company into financial riun with the bloody ScoobyVelle it now has to start earning its keep as a promo wagon at events. Our corp colours are purple, orange, black and white. So I thought as the time for respray is looming - "what colour?"
I had toyed with yellow but that did not seem to work, looked at black but the bodywork would have to be pin sharp and anyone who knows the van, will realise just how much work this would take. So, after passing a new Ford Focus this morning how about this:

The paint will be the same as that on the new focus as below:

Thoughts please.

Orange

Hi Aidan,
if the van had not been monumentally buggered about with I would stick to VW stuff but we are abit past that point. It is not a resto project.
The Westy is staying original as far as possible, but this is my plaything. This orange is just more vibrant and alive than the flatter orange from VW.

Cheers PB,

Now rather than pimped it is way up high being a Syncro. When I get a spare hour or so I may fettle the pic and see what can be done to make it look like the van I want. But it is close.

Cheers, Paul

Looks good, I actually like the Yellow that the drawing seems to have come out in...
the satin black "GT" stripes in the swage lines, windo surrounds works very well.. I did my "green monster" with the "GT" look...
Will be taking the same approach witht he DOKA....
