Handbrake cable

Do you have to drop the fuel tank to change the front cable? ive tryed my best to get at the cable guide but cant see any other way :(
My van is rusty and smells like a chippy

Yes you do have to drop the tank but only a few inches then you you can do it at arms length fiddly but possable.
