MPG

Post by Rooster »

Souds like something needs adjusting. I get 21 to 22 mpg on gas
T252.1 GLI Caravelle on a manual 4 speed box. 17mpg pulling a 900kg Caravan

Works out at equivalent of 55 mpg against Dzl and 44 against petrol so its still good value.
Hope this helps. - Tony

If it's a Syncro it will do a lot fewer miles per gallon. My 1.9 2WD van did 20-24mpg but my 2.1 Syncro (with the same LPG kit) only does between 14 and 18.

I believe the injection kit on the 2.1 (with it's trap door airflow meter) doesn't do a lot for the mpg on gas either.
