Alternative Alternators

The alternator on my 1.9td has run its bearings , as scrap T3 s in this area
(North Lincolnshire) are thin on the ground what other vehicles run a similar JX type alternator (if any)?

Is it economic to have one rebuilt??

is it a bosch??? if so look in any other german cars about that age! newer ones can be fit with slight mods, make sure you get the same or higher amps!
