exploding eberspacher

Post by willreeve »

I have an old B2L petrol fuleled eber attached under the floor of my '82 westy. I took it apart and everything is in order, the air pumps all work, the fuel burns, the only problem is I have no fuel pump so the problem here is a couple of unburnt litres of petrol filling the chamber and kaboom! I am a little concerned about the safety of having the makings of a bomb strapped under my pride and joy. I am trying to get a fuel pump, and a little unsure of what sort of pump to fit. Any personal reassurance/safety tips?
cheers
