Syncro pick-up in North Yorkshire - NOW WITH PHOTOS
Evening everyone, I've looking for possible interest in this.
One owner 1.6TD Syncro pickup, 6 months tax and test, 4 nearly new tyres.
Retired farmer owner friend of mine, and I believe it's one owner in better than tidy condition.
I'll get more info on Saturday including some decent photos.
I wanted this myself a couple of years ago, but the family means I have to keep the Camper.
What (depending on condition) is this really worth?
cheers
Rich

Tell you what fella, call it it £70 and we have a dea... HANG ON!
Nah, seriously, he's not going to want "it as rare as f*ck" stupid money, and I personally would like to see go to an enthusiast as I know it's a good 'un.
I'll get some pictures and post some links this weekend.

I now have photos, which I'm uploading to photobucket has we speak, I've taken quite a few so please ignore the duplicates, sorry we didn't have time to wash it, but this can be done and more piccies taken.
The T25 has covered 134'000 miles and is tax and tested until July.
It has had two owners, the current one since it was about 12 months old.
The underneath is in excellent condition, and the vehicle has spent most of it's life moving potatoes.
The only mechanical downside is that the clutch is a bit worn, but this only becomes apparent when it is carrying a lot of potatoes! Overall this is an honest working truck.
It's available as of now.
If you have any questions, please drop me an email.
cheers

Gotta be worth 2K minimum in that condition, maybe 2.5-3K if very nice with no rust going on current prices for TD Syncro Single Cabs.
Don't let it go cheap whatever you do. VW only made 280 odd RHD Single Cab Syncros including petrols so TDs are more valuable.
Sorry if my views seem strong, just an opnion

Honest to goodness looking single-cab there... with honest set of photos.

I'd support what Clive and Clur said, mine is also a white TD, H-reg with 107k, the load-bed and locker are nearly mint. It does have some incipient seam-rust in places that should be sortable, and one or two perforations here and there. I paid over 2k.

Finally got back home and back into the swing of things last week. Also got opportunity to have a closer look at the Sika, and also took some more pictures after cleaning it.
Firstly, the truck isn't as good as I remembered (unfortunately) more rust, a nice chip in the passenger side windscreen, the drivers door needs a bit of persuasion to shut properly and the engine smokes a bit after a cold start - saying that, it had been stood for over three weeks and did start well, once warm it was fine. I took it out for spin and ended up doing 50 miles up to Market Weighton and back round Goole. To be honest it was a pleasure to drive, I thought that a combination of a wheezy diesel driving four wheels would be a chore, but it drove (almost) as well as my own petrol DG powered (2wd) van.

The rest of the previous description is still relevant, and I can still bring it to Dub Freeze, I have the offer of a lift back if someone wanted to do a deal there and then.
The newer photos are available here:

Drop me a PM if you want to make an offer.
