flickering speedo

do all t25`s have flickering speedo`s or is it just mine,i changed the speedo cable(its a 1989 1.9dg by the way)because the push connector to the pod had snapped and it still flickers more than a flickering thing at a flicker party,is ther any way of curing this :?

not to sure mate but mine does the same not really bad but its there and i changed cable to

get had this, we gaffer taped the cable in place

why fix it when you can bodge it

Mines a flicker! i read my speedo by the middle reading 30-50 flicker means 40mph :D

same here.....just go to the passenger side and give the hub a swift boot - soon sorts it until next time it starts.....

mine has flickered for 172,000 miles, getting used to it now, like the howl from the heater vent which lost its foam eon's ago.
minor problem compared to some :roll:

have seen a reply form Simon Brickyard IIRC and he said you need to tighten the wheel bearing on the front left hand wheel were the speedo cable fits

be careful when routing the speedo cable, make curves in the cable as shallow as possible as sharp bends in the cable cause the flickering

Mine doesn't flicker a lot, but it does tick...I'd think I'd gone deaf if it didn't.
