bluebird rock n roll bed

Post by kathyshack »

who has fitted one of these to a T25? Are they easy to fit?
I am thinking of getting one, but i'm a bit scared of drilling into the bus to fit it etc.... anyone done it? was it simple enough, ie you dont drill into any engine bits/ pipes etc etc when fitting?....
thanks,
kathy

Can I add some further questions for owners of bluebird rock n'rollers
1) is there a raised platform in the boot (i've got a diesel lump with a 50mm hump in the engine lid)
2) if anyone has experience of bluebird and jk rock n'roll beds which do you prefer and why?

I went down the route of just getting bed hinges and making a wooden box with the hinges attached either side. You will have to build another box on top of the engine bay too though but its not the most difficult thing in the world. If you need any more help, I can point you in the right direction.
