Overheating 1.9 petrol

my 1.9 petrol T25 keeps overheating. i have bled it several times and checked for blockages but still it overheats. engine is OK no problems. After a run i can here gurgling noises in the engine area but cannot trace them.
any ideas anyone?

Stuck thermostat, Not bled right, radiator got crud built up in front?

How do you know the engine is ok? if its overheating it could be that the head gasket has gone/head stud snapped or even a crack.....

as said, ensure the thermostat is working, the water pump is pumping and the system is bled correctly.. this is the most important thing..

Also.. please describe the "overheating"
is it just a temperature gauge reading or is it spewing water out when it gets hot?
is the heater still kicking out heat?
