Have just got my 88 velle auto back on the road after being out of action for about 2 years..

Just trying to iron out all the squeaks and bangs on the old girl!!

Have just replaced all the front upper wishbone bushes which has stopped the front end whinging, but now i have a similar noise coming from the rear.. Is this the rear arm bushes? I have just lowered it 70mm using avo springs & shocks, checked everything else...

Do i need to loosen the mounts and then retighten with the vehicle weight on it now and if i do this will i mash up the rear end geometry?

Thanks

Bob

The will squeak if there is a lack of grease. Check that they are not dry.

Woo-hoo Finally sorted... Its the new avo rear shocks... They have a tough rubbery protective boot on them and it was catching on the shock body slightly... Unbeleivale loud squeak tho!

Thanks for all the help... Just got to sort out the mistery rattle coming from the N/S front now!!!
