Yup, lives over the road... first time he's been out off-road, and was quite amazed with the routes you and Paul had planned for us all...

Does mini-marathons etc., so sees the countryside from a different perspective.

Recently cycled the Ridgeway with him and another mate over 3 days, so that was definitely off-road most of the way.. must write it up, some beautiful scenery - particularly liked the section this end from Ivinghoe to the Thames. Turned into a bit of a chewed up Green Motorway after that, but still nice views from the Ridge, 900' above the Vale of the White Horse (White Dragon, no-way is that a horse ) - this country never ceases to amaze

Oh yes, and we finally saw some blue sky as we got to Hackpen Hill and walked up the amazing Overton Stone Avenue at Avebury , too knackered, too cold to ride anymore by then
