Hi everyone... many thanks for all your replies, I will take your advice and if I take the hub off I will be sure to find a fat bloke to help me tighten it up!

(Or maybe I could just wait until after Christmas and do it myself!)

Cheap 46mm sockets from Just Kampers, get it welded with a big mig to a length of scaffold tube, cheap hub nut wrench :)
