id love to slam my bus to within an inch of the ground like i see on some of my friends splittys but people say it cant be done. i say thats bs just because it hasnt been done before doesnt mean it cant be done.
has anyone ever gone in to detail and really studied this? modified or new swinging arms? raised front arch? i dont know....................yet, but its definetly something i will do in the future.
also is anyone else good at photoshop, will post some other modifications later
ive always got a nice tail back behind me anyway... im well used to being overtaken even by lorries. my van will do 80mph but the engine sounds like it about to blow so i stick to a modest 50-55mph.
Only way to totally slam a T3 that far is dropping the body down over the the lower half of the chassis/body - someone in the state has gone that route with juice (not air) i believe n looked good but never saw the final product. To do it the traditional way with springs etc is very difficult beyond -60mm.
80mm has been done but it kills your tyres and all associated suspension parts (esp the front end) and could be a nightmare to insure.
Dont kno enough but on hydralics but considering you sit on the front wheelarch there seem to be limitations there also without retubbing them (i.e. the body drop.)
Erm yes some of us have investigated it i'd love it that low...
More worried where he's sitting! This must be the completion of the juiced one i saw. Hes dropped the body to go this low not practical at all! Your arris must rest on the front wheels and if you went sleep in the back your head'd be in the carb!! Top marx for slamming tho!! Imagine that over speedbumps tho...
Don't tell me you people think he drives around with it that low? it's running airbags i would imagine (or whatever 'juiced' is) so when its time to go it will simply be raised up and driven away, anyone remember those ugly Citreon's with air suspension? same thing.
Juiced is electrically driven hydraulic rams and air is compressed air bags. The Electric ones are the type that are faster and can make the cars 'dance' etc where as air jus takes you up n down slower tho the air performance is getting better and better. Juiced is like driving round on near solid suspension using just air/hydraulic fluid in the cylinders thru actuators instead of springs hence why airbags are getting more popular as it dont knock your fillings out! And o cousre we didnt think he drove round that low shep! i'd raise it half an inch at least...
(BTW this is info i've found out not not actually run so please if i'm wrong say so as i'm thinking of slammin on air!)
