Thats looking good David - your going to have to change your user name to "Belle's about done"....

So you have lowered it ? Can't remember what your plans were ? Did you use a kit or just the springs ?

Got any pics of your eyebrow spoiler ?

Cheers

i got some springs from ebay in march, there 60,s. was supprised how low 60 would be, more like 70,75. but the ride is fab, not to harsh atall, Anna been out in it and she said it was fine, took about 2 hrs at college, fronts were a bit of a pain

not sure when ill do spoiler, grill needs either replacing or maybe just tarting up first, wanna have a black badge and a red stripe round the grill just like the old GTI's

have you had any thing done with yours recently, hope everyone is ok

I have been trying to get round to spraying up the rust - it looks a right state at the moment. Trouble is, i have no garage and need to find one if im going to start spray painting this time of the year.

Got some engine stuff to do before i go to the alps in Jan and H is going to buy some material and have a go at re-upholstering the interior. The captains seats we picked up at van fest are very tatty....

Its all looking good ! Just to many hobbies and not enough time..... (Not a bad thing !)

My front springs were a lot harder to do that the rears - i would get a decent set of spring compressors if i did it again! Im very happy with the 60mm drop - it looks awesome!
