Just bought a couple of these, I'm a bit confused :?: I know the small copper looking bit goes into the dash, but what do you plug into the actual thing its self?? the black bit??

Hope you didnt buy them at that price....

pop into your local autoelectrician and get them (or similar) for a lot less...


Not sure what you mean.. the socket goes in the dash and the plug goes in it.. the plug can be fitted to whatever accesory you have... just like a normal cigerette lighter socket..

most of the electric itams sold over in france have a lighter plug which addapts to fit the hella plug and we can get them over here too from most acc shops the top just twists off the cigar lighter plug [look for the red top on them and think you will find they then fit the hella plug
if my vans a rocking dont worry fixing it again lol

There is a screw on top just undone that and there are 2 small terminals in there like a normal house plug so i assume you connect something to that

The one i had the end screwed off and you hardwired whatever you want to it

Stacks on Ebay , listed as Euro plugs and some other various names. Some were is motor cycle parts as Triumph sockets???
Health has now stopped me camping Etc.
