Found Audi 100 quattro

Post by PC52 »

I have found an Audi 100 quattro. Are their any parts on this which would be useful with the syncros? I don't need anything at the moment but I'm thinking about building up a bit of a store for those unforeseen moments or adding a bit of luxury.

Front discs off the Audi possibly, after a quick bit of machining, but maybe I've got my models wrong and it was Audi 200..

Keep your eye out for low mileage EJ22's, the NA 2.0 litres weren't imported I think here, and the 2.0 turbops are not desirable for a T25. The eng. numbers are on the bellhosuing mating face, top LHS and hard to see.

Oh.. so I could be interested in any other 100 parts (interior/body etc etc)

There isnt much that could poss swap over.. front brakes are similar caliper but bigger disc.. but caliper retaining bolts are only 12mm t25 is 16mm....

audi 100

Post by PC52 »

Was going to have a look today but rain stopped me so I went to play in the puddles and mud with my newly registered (gearbox rebuilt) beast - it was SPOT on (bit of a problem with the speedo) .
I don't know the engine code for the scooby yet, possibly try to go tommorrow. The Audi 100 interior is good, light grey and black, Panels , doors, glass etc are all good, everything still available except front brakes and one rear electric window switch. The car has been standing for a while so I will check out the rear brakes properly tommorrow.
