Are the wide angle Convex mirrors worth buying , as the flat glass ones i have are dreadfull ...
The drivers side aint too bad ,,,, but the far side is a joke ... I can see Jack $*** worth seeing when driving.....
I have small ones on the Westy and enormoose ones on the Scoobyvelle, the latter are fablious.
If you can I would swap unless you like the "less is more" look.
Cheers, Paul.

The standard mirrors have no sprung return to a set position & I always felt this was poor. Changed them for Defender mirrors, yes it's a diff mounting but they'll go onto the 'flat' (actually slightly convex) of the main door panel & I chose convex glass - heads abt same size as vw orig's. 2 screws (M6?) from i/s of door under quarterlight. Filled in the redundant vw holes. Work very well. Can fold in when parked tight.
You can get new glasses for them for about £4 each although a L-R dealer quoted me £13.40!!!
