Post by Georgedog »

WEhey.... Need some bits to convert my intake system to a DG Pierburg Carb .... So ....
I just bought a 2nd Hand engine with most of the bits n' bobs still attached .. I DO NEED a new plastic oil filler tube [mines cracked at bottom, has jubilee clip + pishes oil out !] and Lo + Behold .. the latest lump has a good un !
Anyway.... cut to the chase ... How is it fitted onto the lower metal pipe ??
how do i get it off ?? and will it go straight on my Lump /?????
:?: :?: :?:
Im assuming its a kinda push fit + just pulls off, but i have just dropped the lump off on m8's workbench .. and had no time to play ! :x !

Will start pulling bits off - apart on friday ............. ave' it ......... :shady

I was talking to mocki about this the other day, he recommended general purpose grease, on both sides of gasket, do it up max hand tight
