CHEAP BED SETUP ..

Post by Georgedog »

If you get chance, have a look at a LeisureDrive Bed Setup... Not the norm tilt + turn jobbie, but a timber with some steel square tubes [one a bit bigger so as to have small one inside] They are simplicity itself + would be a pissball to make CHEAP !!
Im not sure if all Leisuredrive are this basic type, but real easy make !!
Im in Leeds if you need a look at one ............

Andy-cull what are your woodworking skills at least relating to plywood? I built my own seat - bed using various hinges and catches recessed into the ply. In use it's really quick & slick & has 3 positions - seat back up, seat back down, and flip all of it forward for the bed. No pics must do some. The cushions are loose though & I have no rear seat belts, but its not used as a seat when travelling.
