hi

ive posted about these before, and i was due to get the extended bolts this week and get someone to fit them next week.

then i saw these

now mine, which simon at brickwerks said would stick out a mile look like this

marked: P157o 7Jx15H2 and e11

now i know lots of people have pentas fitted so i was confused when simon said that, but now ive seen those others i can clearly see that mine are gonna stick out more.

which are yours like, if im gonna have to step out the slidin door, im just not gonna bother (last time i impulse buy at a show, in fairness i was told they'd bolt straight on)

many thanks everyone, hopefully this will be the end of it

If it's only a problem with the rear wheels?

There was a post about fitting an extended slider arm link (2 links, cut and welded together, allowing the door to clear the sticky out rear wheels) on here a while back, it may be less hassle to do the mod than fanny about looking for more wheels again.

The step by step process looked easy to follow IMO.

A nice-an-easy Winter project?

Feel for ya chimp! I bought some alloys too, which i was told would go straight on, only they dont. they're not pentas or anything, so can't help there. Just know how frustrating it can be. (still stuck with em now...) I'm sticking with wheel trims now......

thanks for the reps Tex and Kathy

if they do stick out i think it'll affect the steering too, so i just wont bother.
im gonna take the back wheel off this weekend and offer one up to see what it looks like.

was hoping to hear from some penta owners for a comparison but oh well.

im gonna track down the git who sold them to me at vanfest though if they are wrong, ass kicking time i think :D

Alright Chimp
Ive gor the same wheels as you on my 86 tintop but they seem to fit ok, but my standard spare wont fit on the exisiting studs, I mean the studs thread are too short so I need some kind of spacer to tighten the standard spare wheel on. Do you know what I mean? What do you use?
Cheers

I suspect I need some kind of spacer, but Halfords, local car parts shop & B&Q dont sell them. Could I use washers - remember it would only be temporary until I get good wheel fixed...
