Mine have no zips, it's not too hard if they have what I now know to call slip stiching.

reading the above my van used to have a very dry musty smell after i bought it turned out that the carpet in the front was getting damp from a windscreen leak
Now running and fixing

Mine has the lovely air off too any cigarettes and not enough fresh air. Lovely when it's damp outside!
