What are the rules as of now in trems of hoses and fixings etc? And how do they apply to old installations like me cooker etc. I've recently bought a spanking new propex and i think i'll get it inspected by a Corgi fitter to be on the safe side but surely he'll condem the old cooker fixings too?

corgi people may tell you its illegal for any work to be carried out by people without a current LPG certificate. While this may be a good idea its not necessarily true for "non professional" conversions.
but that is not what you asked. I don't know is the best I can do but I do know that LPG grade rubber perishes over time so if your system is old I would replace all the non copper pipes.
