Spark Plugs...Stupid question?

Post by andyhagerty »

Hi

I am in the process of changing my spark plugs (to help LPG running). Have noticed the plugs in at moment have had the small silver bit at top taken off. Have I got the wrong leads fitted or do you have to do this.

Cheers

Andy.

Some plug caps need the top screwed off so they fit, some don`t. Nothing to chose bewteen either type, just different types of plug cap.

First time I have changed them on my van. Just wanted confirmation.

Call it a "Senior Moment".

Thanks
