Ok, so it's possible then if I buy the right carb to be fitted in with the DG engine. I managed to grab some water hoses that go round the engine bay (genuine VW) in really good condition from flea bay (£1.20 - bargain :mrgreen: ). ok, I think I'm getting this but still have one question........

I have a 1.9 DF (60PS) which is generally on it's way to becoming cream crackered.

Can I put a1.9 DG engine in it as long as I change the carbs too or will it not fit right?
