Re: Recon Engines
Haven't heard of them personally but a tip from me is to look at the 1.9 AAZ route.
I have just done a conversion a few weeks ago and its not that difficult... takes a few days but worth it as the extra torque really does help...

Re: Dizzy vacume connections
this is the thing, on my old engine it was fine, if anything it pulled very well (had 100mph indicated in a littler T25 race)
On the new engine my van runs like a bag o "pooh"!!
Am thinking this could be part of the problem!

Re: bench seats
Forgot to mention that this seat also folds down flat onto itself so is ideal if you dont have a bulkhead...
And it 'may' be up for sale, i have already made brackets e.t.c.... i have gone for a walkthrough now....

Re: bench seats
Why not get a different style of bench seat.... I used a transit middle seat and adapted it, it fits perfect, has armrests for all seats and is comfy as you like... Also the back is mounted to the base so you simply screw it into the seat boxes and thats it, all secure!! http://photos-b.ll.facebook....

Dizzy vacume connections
Ever since i have owned my T25 (1.9DG) i have noticed the two vacume pipes on the dizzy were disconnected and blanked off.
Whats the score with these? Is it better to run them connected and let the timing adjust or were they set up like that as standard for a reason??
Cheers

Re: Will these alloys fit???
I ground my wheels out myself using a grinding stone on a drill...
Took me a few hours but not really difficult...
Longer studs are a must tho!

Now i have a problem with running on choke (feels like it misfires and very rough) and also flat spots once its warm. I have got ...
