Yes, check the clearance between the inlet manifold and the nearside chassis rail inner plate before you finally fit it - if its a high-block 2-litre, you'll need to clearance it 'before' you finally fit. Which fuel pump for GTI conversion?

Will a Mk1 GTI fuel pump be ok to use (the one from the donor car is submersed in the tank)?
