top speed will be restricted by gear box ratio,s
18,s on 40% profile tyres are as near as possible same rolling radius as standard tyres

recheck your tappets, change the leads,cap,rotor arm and plugs, alot can happen in 3 years nomatter how low the miles, get a standard rotor arm not a rev limited one, see how that helps

oil cooler , if your not having any other problems

also if you look at the block on the exhaust/inlet manifold side near enough in the middle will say 1.6d or 1.9d ect in inch high letters

4.5lt of oil with oilfilter change and 4lt without filter change
enginge number is on the block just under number 3 injector this will tell you exactly what engine u have
grey /white smoke will be unburnt fuel not oil as oil will be mostly blue hope this helps

from 50bhp to 75bhp and loads more torque

sounds like either a bad battery lead conection,bad battery to starter conection or bad engine earth , check clean and tighten them all and get a jump start as the batttery may have gone flat as a result
