hmmm, sorry this is not answering your question, but the previous reply just got me thinking, on my 2.0 cu engine the wires for the auto choke fuel cut off solinoid ect are all the same wire! is this normal? or should the power only go to the choke for a few mins, then cut off? if this is the case t...

thanks for the help and advice, i will have a look in the loft over the weekend as i am sure i have my old pentium pc up there, if not i will ask a few friends i am sure someone has a scrap pc. then i will pull out the psu and have a look, i'll let you know how i get on.

hmmmm, thanks for the advice/info
so in theory i could use a psu out of an old pc? as i am sure they have a silent cooling fan built in and are good for approx 300W / 25A i think?

oh i see, sorry i thought they had amp adjustment to!!! a battery charger? as in car battery/zig?? sure it warns against this in the manual for my zig unit!
i will have a look on the bay for something, will 12v 10A be enough do you think?

thats great, thanks, are you just using one of those variable voltage plugs? if so do you have it set at 9amps? or a bit more?

im not really sure, but i would hazard a guess at cv joint, my old golf used to do it when turning, at that was a knackard cv joint? jst an idea.

Just wondering, i have been looking at differant oil temp solutions, the dipstick is a nono, but a sender in the sump plate seems to be the "done thing" but for ease i was just wondering if you could fit one straight into the drain plug hole? i have read various posts but not seen this cov...

not sure on size off hand, but be aware they ARE differant from the rears, i made the mistake of buying 4 the same as the rear one i took with me to compare, then got home to find out the fronts were differant

i got a new dizzy cap from halfrauds, if i remember rightly they didnt list one so i took mine in and found an identicle one to it, they didnt have a rotor arm though, there was one very very similar but not identicle, so i left that cos mine didnt look to bad anyway.
