Hi
I currently have a 1.6d from a mk2 Golf in my van. It has lost compression and needs to be replaced. I want to replace it with a 1Y.
Has anyone any experience of a conversion like this? Do you know of any difficulties?

Hi I am in the process of buying a 1984 T25. It is a 1.9 diesel, with an engine number starting DG - the V5 says it is a Caravelle 78PS The wiki buyers guide seems to have this as a petrol.
