Thanks everyone great info...I will check all what's been said..When I say intermittent I mean either when you turn the key you get no response whatsoever and if I turn the key back and forth eventually the engine turns or when I turn the key the engine just turns over slowly and the all of a sudden...

Hi there can anyone tell me how many earths should be on my van and where they are as I want to take them off and clean them.The reason for this is that the ignition is intermittent works fine one day then slow to turn over the next.....

Hi many thanks again for your reply....yes the bush Was changed so I will check the earths and conectors...I will also check the pump tomorrow aswell...

Thanks for your reply.............. 1.Yes the bush was changed when the starter was....It was done at the begining of the year and has been fine till now... 2.where do i check if theres air leaking into the pump inlet line? 3.I do seem to use alot of petrol so maybe i have got a leak some where???? ...

Hi there lads n lasses.........NEED SOME HELP......Please...... got a few problems with my van.... 1.it takes quite a few turns on the key to get started when hot( starts instantly when cold )...And when it finally starts the cab smells of petrol 2.the starter motor has just started too struggle int...

Thanks for your help lads im gonna change the gearbox oil and see what happens...Whats the best oil to use....

Hi there sorry for the confusion i only got the oil done for me because the garage had to drain the engine oil to drill out a engine bolt.And i dont use 1st gear to slow down i try putting it in just as iam about to stop...where do i change the gearbox oil and will it help do you think??

Hi there is it normal for my 1st gear to crunch when slowing down only goes in when at a standstill also my second gear crunches when cold but ok when warm.can someone please help I want to sort it before making it worse.

Hi there reverse lights now working thanks for the helps lads.......
Got a new problem now the heater fan is sqeaking and its doing my head in any ideas how to stop this...

Hi there right still havent got round to doing the reverse light switch have changed the bulbs and still not working.I have just been and got a reverse light switch where is it on the gearbox can i do it without jacking up the van???

Hi there i cant belive it you was right the washer jet was blocked loads of cr@p came out now works a treat....Hopefully the weathers better tomorow and gonna check the bulbs...wish me luck....

Hi there first problem is my reverse lights have stoped working have checked the fuses and all seem ok any ideas what i should check next.....
problem 2 is only the passenger side washer jet works where shall i look first to see where the problem is

Right lads thanks for all your help gonna attempt changing the bush this weekend...Just one more thing,,,When i undo the starter motor from the engine Will the bush comeout with the starter motor or does it get left in the engine.....
