Has anybody got a technique for removing the connecting rod bolts on DJ engines?

Anybody got experience of getting injectors cleaned? -I've found adverts for ultrasonic cleaning/refurbishment. One of the injectors on my 2.1 DJ is leaking 6 drops every minute v's maximum recommended of 2 drops/min.

Struggling to solve bad misfire on 2.1 DJ engine. In Vanagon posts and manuals tells you how to check the Hall control unit but it shows diffrent methods for an AEG or Fairchild unit. Mine is a Siemens unit - nyone know how to check a Siemens Hall Control Unit?

Fixed it. It helps if you get the firing order right when you put the plug leads on! So it was the ECU - next oil change to get rid of all that excess fuel.

Fitted second hand ecu, now runs but misfires , mostly number 2. swopped ignition leads between plugs with no effect, injectors appear to spray ok, fitted new dizzy cap, next step I'll try a new coil -any advice appreciated

Done all the earths (replaced all the ring terminals), completed all the checks looks like ecu.
