Does anyone out there know where I can lay my hands on some sticky top stuff that goes on the headlining around the cab roof and the rest of the interior?

Have almost brought a 3 man Canadian Canoe :D but they are heavy, has anyone else out there put any heavy weight on there pop top and do you think you could raise the roof with the Canoe on top? :?

I have a non turbo 1.6 in my 82 westy at the mo, how much BHP does this have? and what would be the increase in a 1.9td engine? I have read this area but I still don't know if it's worth changing the engine. I have just drove to Poole and back (450mile) and it takes a long time! I would like to sit ...

Sorry to hi-jack this thread but I have fitted a new door handle to the old girl but for some reason she does not lock and the little plastic knob on the inside just goes up and down without doing anything :shock: (oh never had a handle since I brought it!)

Well I have to drive her back from Dorset to Cambridge at the weekend! The belt used to slip and squel (light came on and went off when reved) but was tightened. the light is VERY weak and flickres, you have to shield the light aperture to see it :? Cause for concern, it is over 200 miles?
