Engine Overheat - Do symptoms include Power Loss?
Hi, I've had a good read on the forum & think I've tracked down the cause of a problem my van's got. I just wanted to do a quick check and confirm if I can. My van's a 1989 T25 Water cooled petrol. Just recently she's starting losing power but only when the engine is hot. The engine seems to run...

Dash Lights and Clock not working - Help!
Hi, I've had my van for a few months now and the clock and dash lights have never worked (the gauges, warning lights, heater illumiation all do). I though it was about time I got it sorted. As far as I can see the fuse is OK (though I'm not 100% sure I've identified the right one - I used the owners...

Advice on immobiliser, alarms and central locking
Hi, I recently bought my first van (1989, 1.9, Hitop, water cooled). All very exciting! I'd like to beef up the security a bit but am unsure what is feasable/affordable. What I really fancy is the whole caboodle - I press a button on a key fob and the van central locks (with deadlocks???) and immobi...

Re: How do I identify my Weber carb?
Cheers for the reply. It is, indeed, a 34 DAT. I've now tracked down the info I need to adjust the automatic choke (which wasn't actually attached but now is)
My van is a transporter & seems to run fine now (fingers crossed)
Cheers

How do I identify my Weber carb?
Hi, I've found out that my carb has a sticky choke. So, I thought I'd do some searching around to see how to attack the problem (clean up the carb, consider manual choke, etc???). But I guess as a starting point I need to know exactly what carb I've got. I know it's a twin choke Weber but that's all...
