Re: popped out of second when I lifted off the accelerator
you might be right NKC, it popped out on the way home last night so dribbled a load of general handy oil (some thing with a little more viscosity) in there last night and left it to soak over night and it hasn't popped out once this morning. Let me know how the GT stuff works though =] I don't think...

Re: popped out of second when I lifted off the accelerator
Hi Sag,
got it sorted.....it was a simple case of lubrication, I lifted the gaiter on the gearstick in the cab and gave it a blast with some WD40, then gave it a wiggle and by the time I got to work it was sorted..... hasn't jumped out since =]
Hope this helps others,
Cheers,
Matt

popped out of second when I lifted off the accelerator
Hi all, on my way to work this morning my truck popped out second gear when I lifted off the accelerator. It goes into all gears with ease, to make sure it wasn't me I did put it into second a couple oftimes and again it popped out when I lifted off the accelerator. Can anyone shed any light on this...

Re: Dual function spots
No worries Tom, am grateful for your input mate. I always welcome peoples opinion and ideas, it's the only way to learn =] I'll pop a post up when I'm done. Have got side-tracked myself lately by building a bench seat in the back. The materials are free and its not the weather to be messing about un...

Doka rust remedies?
Hi all, next summer I want to start tackling the rust on my truck and was wondering if anyone out there had any advice or tips on how I can get into the cavities to treat it or where they sell any of the body panels? I know you can get into the cavities above the wheel arches through the rear lights...

Re: power drops of and engine stalls but runs fine on restart?
Just to finish this thread, it turned out to be the diesel filter - when it was cut open it was choked right up with crap. The tank has now been cleaned out and a new fuel filter and al is well =]

Re: Dual function spots
Personally, I find the dipped lights excellent; I have always been surprised by the amount of light they kick out. I am looking forward to getting some power to them however, purely so they're not stuck there like a limp dick haha There is a photo of them on my photobucket account...not close up tho...

There are no bulbs in he lamps either, so my honest question is.....I cannot be sure - The lenses are clear and all that is written on the glass is Halogen RG 16 and E13 in...

Re: Dual function spots
Cheers Tommo for taking the time to redo the diagram =] I'm going to be a pain now as I have thought about it more, I think I want them to work when main-beam is on too =/ I understand how relays work but hadn't considered overloading the circuit, good point =] I realised I wasn't clear about the sp...

ah, this would make it all a lot easier then wouldn't it James, they would only ever be either fog lamps or highbeam, so if they were on as logs and I flashed they would just stay the same, right? =]
