does any one i can have-its the black handbrake linkage cable guide situated behind the fuel tank- it might be a complete unit supplied on the new linkage cable with two rods either end but never having fitted this part befor i am unsure on what is available. not sure if available from VW as its 4pm...

haha yeh sounds about right, tip-dont just remove the small PCB from in behind the spedo clock... some goon did that to me and engine developed random slutters... interfeers with the current flow in the dash and engine, and costs you the price of a new pod.. this was abouit the last time i have take...

3 have about half inch but one is near flush, am continuing soaking for a few days, fingers crossed... where would i be able to get a resonable kit from? do you have the heli-coil kit?
