ermmmm yeh bit of a situ i need answers and guidance for... have 4 sheered exhaust studs stuck in my heads... how can i get these out?! took engine out so its on bench
tried welding nuts to the ends-too high tenstile wouldnt penertrate enought to bond
-two nuts but just managed to strip the inner thread with the nut,
-soaking with penertative lubes with heat on/off to absorb,
-shocking the bots,
-final thing is to drill but dont want to with hard steel into soft alu.. may veer off the stud and oval the thread housing and proper balls it up... any suggestions?

Personally I'd persevere with this method. Soak in Plusgas twice a day for a couple of days and then give it a go. That is unless your van is a 'daily'shaggy-vanner wrote: -soaking with penertative lubes with heat on/off to absorb,

Not clear if they snapped off flush or not, if you have 1/2" left, a proper stud extractor should work. I bought one last year when I was doing some work on my TD, and it's a joy to use.
