Re: Spraying MDF

Hubby made our bath panel from mdf and sprayed it to a gloss finish - its been good for about 6 years and is only now starting to show a little water damage along the top edge. he put 3 coats of a decent filler primer on, smoothed it down then put a couple of coats of 2pack on. If its ok in a bathro...

Re: Breathable Camper Cover

I'm resurrecting an old thread here because I'm thinking of giving up my lock up garage due to it being infested with mice who used my van as a urinal this winter (and it costing £30 a month, every month regardless of whether its being used) and getting the JK breatheable cover as an alternative ove...

Re: Having a flutter?.....

Live and let live Karl, thats what I'm saying. People are quick to jump on the "I'm holier than you" bandwagon. Clearly you don't 'live & let live' - you have issues with people who enjoy driving vehicles off road (issues which you are perfectly entitled to have) I doubt the wildlife ...

Re: ripped awning

For a professional repair try 'Tent hire direct' not far from j10 M6 in walsall ( http://stores.ebay.co.uk/TENTHIRE-LTD-DIRECT" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ) could only find a link to their ebay store...the phone number is in the blurb and they are really helpful - they k...

Re: Hall Sender.

Update on this...we bought a dizzy someone was selling on here; we knew it was the wrong dizzy, however the hall sender unit is the same. After pushing the van up from the lock up (wouldn't start at all) removing our dizzy and replacing the hall sender with the donor one...it started first time! :ok...

Also see this: linky link, not the same dizzy, (single vac so 1.9WC?), but the same Hall sensor I rather think.

Is it the same then?

Can anyone tell me where I can get one from please? JK are out of stock & I've searched the internet and put a wanted ad on here with no luck :(

I don't mind if its either just the sender or the whole distributor, its for a 1982 2l Aircooled engine

many thanks in advance for your help :ok

Re: Ingenious ideas???

A bi annual clearout .... its amazing how much crap you bring into the van and use once. Those vacuum bags you roll instead of getting the air out with a Hoover are good for bedding. Whatever clothes you pack...leave your undies in but take out half the clothes, you won't miss them. Its all common s...

Re: Tents/awnings for t25?

if you use the Search facility (up ^^^ there, top right) you'll find all kinds of info relating to Awnings - you'll also find there's one for everybody's needs. one bit of advice I would give is, use your van first (maybe borrow a small tent if you desperately need the sleeping space initially) befo...
