Re: Dashboard PCB Replacement (CJH Design)

3D Printed case would be easy for these.

Looks like there's a buzzer on that so they may have done somethign with the DOPS.  It's a shame they don't go to the slightly extra effor tof the guage PCB's but if it works..

Re: VW 1.9L watercooled cuts out on low rev

unfortunatly your images are not showing,  what do you mean by fule has gone back through the hose to the air filter? Does it do it hot or cold? Does it drive well otherwise. it's good to replace the air filter but it's not likely to be the cause of your issues. Likely culprits are  1) a vacuum leak...

Re: Awning recommendations for High top

Are you after a drive away or permemant?  Our Maisy came with a SunCamp fibre pol thing which was ok but felt a lttle flimsy. I picked up a vango magra airbeam and we have used it a few times and it's a way better proposition and stood up to some heafty winds in north berwick in september on an expo...

Re: Battery light

Why did you get the alternator reconditioned?

have you tested the main battery feed from alternator to battery?

Re: Dead coolant and Heating heater blower - 12v alternative

Yeah not got much chance with anythig 12v.  My heater is fine, but on frosty mornings in whatever vehicle I am using ,   I have my 700Wh Powerbank and a 600W Ceramic mains heater. Produces enough heat to thaw the screen. And I recharge it at my workshop where electricity is free :)  Or put a 2KW fan...

Re: Where's my buzzer?

most likely the foil PCB on the back of the instrument cluster has failed. if it was faulty it would be easy to recreate one from scratch if it were not for the random IC that I can't identify. Re-engineering it is on my backlog of things to do though and is simple enough with modern microcontrollers.
