Re: 2.1 DJ tune up help please
Cheers again, I'll get on the hunt for a DLS
, I'll treat her to some super unleaded. Got to say I'm impressed with the DJ engine so far seems smooth, powerful and it's nice having a fuel injection system that can be fairly easily diagnosed and setup with simple tools.

Cheers cobblers, im 99 percent sure it's all digijet stuff, looks fairly unmolested, I'm wondering if the unit is mounted elsewhere and I've yet to find it as its a pick up? Re: Big Blue Van - Full Restoration
Amazing work! Great attention to detail, going to be like a brand new van! I'm just in the process of piecing mine back together after a full restoration. Could you please send me some details on the kit you used to do the zinc plating, or would you like to do another set of locks and latches etc if...

Early Vs Late suspension
So my van is a 1983 with the earlier suspension brakes etc etc. My question is how much of an upgrade is the later setup? I have a donor van which is a 1989 with power steering. Both setups will need new bushes etc, just wondering if it's worth the bit if extra work to change? Thanks

Re: Late wiring swap into early Van
Thanks for the reply robsey, thats a great help. I'll be sure to enlarge that hole before I get the van painted. I assume everything else kind of fits? Fuse box bolts up etc?

Re: Late wiring swap into early Van
Thanks Stesaw! That's good to hear! Did you have to enlarge any of the bulkhead wiring holes I'm sure I read something on one of my Google searches that there wiring loom grommet is bigger on later? May be dreaming it ?

Late wiring swap into early Van
Has anybody got any experience in swapping a complete wiring loom from a late van (89 caravelle) into an early Van ( 83 Devon). I have acquired a rotten 1989 caravelle parts van, which has Central locking, rev counter and the more modern fusebox. My 1983 devon campers loom is a little butchered here...

Re: Big Blue Van - Full Restoration
So I was re reading your thread, see you have doubled up on the rear arch panels? Looks like you have a factory arch under the full rear quarter panel? If so where did you source the full rear quarters and what is the fit like? I've heard some horror stories about some aftermarket rear quarters. Tha...
